What is a ProducerCompany?

A Producer Company is a special type of company registered under the Companies Act, 2013, formed by farmers, agriculturists, or primary producers to improve their income and collective strength.
It enables producers to produce, harvest, procure, process, market, and sell their products collectively.

Eligibility Criteria for Producer Company

    • Minimum 10 individual producers or

    • Minimum 2 producer institutions or

    • Combination of both

    • Minimum 5 directors required

    • All members must be primary producers

    •  Registered office address in India
